CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Welcome to Penn Friends' Children's Ministry! We try to share the heart and love of Jesus Christ with each child in an age appropriate setting.


From 9:30 to 10:15, Becky Wright inspires younger children in the Noah's Ark Room while their parents pursue Bible study in the Fellowship Hall.


Children accompany their parents in the Sanctuary during Praise and Worship at 10:30, and are excused before the sermon. Ages 4 to 7 meet with Brenda or Alice for Children's Church, while 8 years old and up go to Carpenter's Kids with Jason.

PRE-REGISTER MY KIDS

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Young children will find activities prior to the 10:30 service in the Noah's Ark room. During praise and worship, children will sit with their parents, but will be called to Children's Church after the music.


3years and under go to the Nursery; 4 through 7 years old to Children's Church in the Noah's Ark Room, and 8 years and up to Carpenter's Kids.

SAFETY

Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

WHAT WE TEACH

Penn Friends Community Church teaching is Biblically focused. Young children sing, listen to a lesson related to a Bible story, and color a picture from the story-lesson from Gospel Light.


Carpenter's Kids learn from the Grow curriculum, and then work on a woodworking project.
